THE COURT GARDEN - 2004
This garden was the only formal water garden at Hampton Court in 2004.
Once again it was designed by Claudia De Yong.
The garden consisted of 2 formal ponds with the upper flanked with a splendid avenue of Box spheres.
The upper pond contained our own Nursery-grown hardy water lilies while the lower, heated pond contained our own tropical lotus plants. The stonework was also locally sourced.
It was awarded the R.H.S. Silver-Gilt Medal.
